Tank container business of Bertschi AG about to be lifted from European and Russian level to global scale

Bertschi AG, a leading provider of logistic services for the chemical industry, based in Dürrenäsch, Switzerland, is about to enter global tank container business. This is the response to the customers’ demand for worldwide services, as the enterprise states.

In the frame of the planned expansion two new locations were established in the first half of 2012; one in China (Bertschi International Freight Forwarding Shanghai Co Ltd) and one in the US (Bertschi North America Inc). The market in the Middle East is covered by Bertschi’s recently established joint venture in Jubail (Saudi Arabia). In a press release the management announces that Bertschi plans to expand its global tank fleet to over 5,000 units by 2015 at the latest.
