Bischof opens multi-temperature centre Sennwald

New multi-temperature centre operated by Bischof Lagerhaus AG in Sennwald will serve as distribution platform in Switzerland:

A new era has started for Bischof Lagerhaus AG. The Swiss subsidiary of the company Bischof Lebensmittellogistik (Feldkirch in Vorarlberg) opened a fully-automated multi-temperature centre in the location Sennwald. The facility acts as distribution platform for Switzerland.

The new terminal features a 30 m high-rack warehouse with a capacity for 5.400 freezer pallets. The refrigerated area offers 1.000 storage positions, the dry area warehouse 5.000 positions for pallets. "With 11.000 storage positions in four temperature zones the logsitics centre is one of its kind in the Rhine Valley Area", the company mangement points out in a report.

Bischof Lagerhaus AG offers a range of services, among the pick-up of the goods, professional storage, picking, packaging and the delivery of the goods to wholesale chains or retail dealers in Europe and Switzerland. Co-packing, assembly, labelling and removal from storage are part of the service. In addition they operate their own bonded warehouses in Austria and Switzerland. Through this integrated logistics concept the customers can focus on their core business.
