Branch in Jaipur is the youngest member in Panalpina’s network

Panalpina plans to open many more branches on the prosperous Indian market:

The Panalpina group has opened a new office on September 29 in the special economic zone of the north Indian metropolis Jaipur, Rajasthan State. Jaipur, also called the “Pink City”, has a large number of companies that export construction material, automotive products, handicrafts, jewellery and carpets. The new station plays an important role in the company’s global expansion strategy.

“Panalpina has an ambitious growth strategy for India. We plan to expand our services by listening to our customers. In our annual Customer Satisfaction Survey 2011, Jaipur was nominated by a majority of our customers as a preferred location where they wanted Panalpina to have its own office. The newly opened branch in north India is one of many more to come”, says Rene Wernli, Managing Director, Panalpina India.

Launched in 1986, the Panalpina company in India is headquartered in Gurgaon, Haryana. It has now a workforce of more than 350 employees in 13 offices. Panalpina India has business units covering the four major districts of north and east, west, southwest and southern India.
