Hoyer group opens St. Petersburg branch and starts setting up its own vehicle fleet in Russia

The globally operating bulk logistician Hoyer reinforces its commitment in the catchment area of the Russian Federation. After opening offices in Moscow, Klaipeda (Lithuania) and Odessa (Ukraine), the logistics service provider headquartered in Hamburg has now set up a branch in St. Petersburg. From day one the product portfolio will cover: all-round transport and logistics services for chemicals, petroleum and foodstuffs, as well as rental of small bulk containers (IBC).

In addition to building up new routes via the Baltic Sea metropolis, the St. Petersburg office will also act as the local contact for the many customers in the region. Thereby the company will continue to offer customers globally uniform high standards of quality there as well, explains Axel Brewe, Head of “Development for Russia and Eastern Europe” at Hoyer. The management of the branch lies in the hands of economist Nina Kononova (32). She spent the past seven years working as an executive for a forwarding company.
