Cargolux launches freighter service to Cairo
The latest achievement of Cargolux Airlines International in its global route-network is a regular freighter service from Luxemburg to Cairo. The capital of Egypt is served once weekly using a Boeing 747-400F offering an airfreight capacity of 120 tons. The flight takes off in the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg Tuesday at 8:35 a.m. to arrive in Cairo at 13:35 a.m. (local time) and continue to Hong Kong. Europe is an important trade partner for Egypt. Cargolux Airlines lately registered a big demand of numerous forwarding customers for additional air freight capacities to Cairo. The new liner service is a response to this.
