Collapse in turnover with Lufthansa Cargo
| Lufthansa Cargo slipping into the red As expected the first six months of 2009 did not pass very well for LH Cargo AG (Frankfurt). According to a statement of Dr Andreas Otto, Lufthansa Cargo Board Member for Marketing and Sales, sales revenues fell EUR 542 million compared to the previous year. The operating result shows a decline of EUR 134 million. Despite taking numerous countermeasures the enterprise expects a negative result for the total year, Mr. Otto said to journalists at the beginning of this week.
