Comprehensive fleet mondernisation with ep Group
Far East transport fleet of EP-Trans international forwarding group shines with low-emission and weight-optimised vehicles:
The ep Group announces the conclusion of a comprehensive program to modernise the far distance fleet. In 2011 they put into operation 45 new Volvo FH 12 EEV semitrailer trucks. At the same time when the last two trucks started operation, the fleet was enlarged with two brand new 4 axis coil trough semitrailers from Berger Ecotrailer in Radfeld, Tyrol. Thus the enterprise has now seven of these weight-optimised special semitrailers, which can carry a maximum weight of 38 tons with a special authorisation. The vehicles are used at the ep-Eurologistik location in Marienberg.
Moreover 60 MAN and Mercedes districution vehicles were integrated into the ep Group’s fleet, which will mainly be used for national distribution traffic with ep-Contract Logistics. All new acquired vehicles comply with the emission standards EURO5 and EEV. They make a considerable contribution to the reduction of fuel consumption and CO2 emissions.
The ep Group acting under the name EP-Trans Internationale Spedition GmbH headquartered in Regensburg, operates eight locations in Germany, a well as own offices in Austria, Poland and Russia. The companies named EP-Trans, EP-Logistik, EP-Eurologistik and DeHLog cover a wide range of services in the segments transport and logistics. All other European countries are served through longstanding partners, who provide access to domestic markets.
