Coscon launches Turkey-Black Sea-Express via Piraeus

Cosco Container Lines to strengthen the feeder network in the East Mediterranean Sea and in the Black Sea by a new weekly service

Cosco Container Lines (Coscon) is to further strengthen the feeder network via Piraeus by launching the new Turkey-Black Sea-Express (TBX) weekly service in the middle of May 2015.

The Turkey-Black Sea-Express will have the following port rotation: Piraeus-Istanbul (Kumport)-Novorossisk-Constantza-Varna-Istanbul (Kumport)-Thessaloniki-Piraeus , plans to deploy two vessels of 1,500-1,700 teu jointly with Yang Ming.

Commencing date will be 13 May at Piraeus by MV “YM Inception”. The Cosco chartered vessel MV “Cape Falster” will be operated by Cosco Container Lines Europe.

Coscon has been so far running two independent feeder services:

AGT: Piraeus – Rijeka – Koper – Venice – Ancona – Piraeus – Thessalonik – Istanbul(Kumport)  -Haydapasa – Yilport –  Izmir – Piraeus, deployed 3*1200teu vessels providing weekly service.

PNX: Piraeus-Naples-Piraeus, deployed 1*1000teu vessel providing weekly service.

In addition, Coscon offers nine weekly calls at Piraeus by its Asia-Med/North Europe main services.
