Dachser Air & Sea sets up new joint venture in Bangladesh
| Dachser enhances market appearance in South Asian region A new national affiliate is to enhance the intercontinental network of the Dachser Group. At the end of March a joint venture was established in Bangladesh. The company acts under the name Dachser Bangladesh Ltd., is headquartered in Dhaka City and operates locations at the Dhaka Airport and in Chittagong. The core services are global air and sea freight transportations. Majority shareholder of Dachser Bangladesh is AFL Dachser Pvt Limited. The Logistics Manager Syed Sadaquat Hossain is holding shares and the function of the Chief Executive Officer. The company attends to numerous enterprises from the textile industry, which relocated their production or procurement markets into this Asian country. Dachser is striving to become one of the five largest logistics service providers in Asia.
