Dachser Austria comes into action for Biohort in 2013 again

General cargo logistics of Dachser Austria helps customers of Biohort to save storage and transport costs
 
Also during the 2013 peak season Biohort, a company specialising in the production of high quality garden sheds, will rely on Dachser Austria’s services for supply of private customers and reputable DOIY-stores and construction markets. Dachser will forward the products of the company headquartered in Neufelden, Upper Austria, directly from the production site to the recipients. There are no storage or transport costs for retailers, acting only as mediators.
 
“This is only possible thanks to the efficient general cargo logistics of our partner Dachser, who is present all across Europe“, says Josef Priglinger, Managing Director Biohort. With the start of the peak season for gardening Dachser will collect the shipments at the production plant, and at the site in Hörsching pick them and prepare them for distribution throughout Europe. From Hörsching the goods are carried to the Dachser locations and afterwards to end customers. Order data is transmitted automatically via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) port. Electronic delivery notes are also a major component of this service.
 
Biohort has been producing and distributing high quality garden sheds for 30 years. The company’s export quota is 78 per cent. Half of the exports goes to Germany; further major markets for exports are France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy and the UK. In 2012 the 130 employees generated turnover of EUR 21.5 million.
