Dachser reinforces air and sea freight business in BeNeLux

Dachser corporation takes major action to boost its air and sea freight business in the Netherlands
 
Effective 1 January 2013 the internationally operating logistics provider, Dachser, acquired 100 per cent of the shares in the joint venture Dachser Netherlands Air & Sea Logistics B.V. established in 2008. “We will continue to accelerate growth in the Benelux countries in future and further expand our air and sea freight business in the region,” says managing director Thomas Reuter. “In Dachser Netherlands Air & Sea Logistics B.V. our customers have a strong services provider with a proven track record and direct access to our full-coverage European overland network,” Reuter adds.
 
Dachser Netherlands Air & Sea Logistics B.V. has been handling shipments in the international air and sea freight forwarding segment at its three locations in Maastricht, Rotterdam und Amsterdam since 2008. The company was founded as a joint venture together with the Dutch partner Seacon Logistics and has posted steady growth rates since its inception.
