DB Schenker’s Hungarian company is looking back on 20 years of successful business activity. Established in 1992, Schenker Kft. has today 360 employees, who generated turnover of EUR 83 million last year. The service portfolio covers land transport (truck and railway), air/sea freight and contract logistics.
 
Integrated into the European network of DB Schenker, Schenker Kft. links the major trade partners Germany, Austria, Italy, Sweden, Romania, Bulgaria and the countries of former Yugoslavia to Hungary via truck transport. As to rail forwarding the logistics company is in charge of block trains and wagon groups transporting iron scrap, grain, food and chemicals. The BILK terminal in Budapest is certified according to the highest level of TAPA standard.
