DB Schenker inaugurates hub for national and global logistics in Vietnam 

The newest DB Schenker building in Asia is designed as a logistics hub for manufacturers, original equipment manufacturers, contract manufacturers and distributors. The logistics centre in the Song Than Industrial Zone of the Binh Duong province near Ho-Chi-Minh-City (Vietnam) will serve as a hub for global and national services. In a press release the Management of the freight forwarding group named the facility a showpiece site in an important growth market. The location had been jointly built with the Vietnamese partner Gemadept Corporation with an investment of USD 5.5 million.

DB Schenker has been represented in Vietnam since 1990. The national organisation has around 200 employees at six locations. The services are ranging from airfreight and seafreight forwarding to contract logistics, supply chain management, project logistics and relocation logistics.
