LOG-IN Internationale Spedition expands its fleet

20 new articulated trucks with safety equipment acquired by LOG-IN Internationale Spedition

The forwarding company LOG-IN Internationale Spedition GmbH is expanding its fleet these weeks. The European-wide acting provider of transport and logistics services for high quality goods adds 20 articulated trucks to its vehicle fleet, which will then count 200 trucks in total. LOG-IN wants to acquire 30 more units before the end of this year. This fleet expansion is effected against the background of new customers and an enhanced cooperation with existing clients, as company owner Robert Gammisch explains.

The new units of the Actros Mercedes series “Safety-Truck" are equipped with electronic lane guard and emergency brake assistants, stability and roll control as well as a distance guard and cruise control including a radar system. These special safety box semi-trailers are manufactured by a medium-sized vehicle producer exclusively for LOG-IN. They have the patented access and anti-theft devices on board, which were developed by the forwarding company itself.

The LOG-IN forwarding company based in Neuenmarkt near Kulmbach (Germany) has specialised in European-wide transport and logistics services for high value goods. The company is affiliated to the Gammisch corporate group, which is managed by the owner and founder Robert Gammisch. In addition to the truck fleet the locations in Bayreuth and Neuenmarkt provide covered warehouses with more than 40,000 square metres. More locations are situated in Hamburg, Bremen, the Czech Republic and Poland. The group has around 290 employees in total.
