Hamburg Süd reorganises its Israel program

Hamburg Süd shipping company launches its own liner service between North Europe and Israel this autumn

The shipping group Hamburg Süd puts its scheme to handle container consignments between North Europe and Israel on a new basis. In a press release the enterprise announced the withdrawal from the joint service with ZIM Lines. With effect from October 2010 they will operate their own independent service on this route. According to the release, the detailed schedule is being drawn up.

The new service concept shall ensure improved connections to the global route network of Hamburg Süd. More details will be announced after the concept is finished.
