Des Hammond Appointed As New Rohlig Australia and New Zealand CFO

Rohlig has appointed Mr Des Hammond as its new Chief Financial Officer for Australia and New Zealand, based in Sydney.

In the course of its programme for growth, Rohlig has changed its global structure to one of divisional responsibility. By making these changes, Rohlig will be able to develop new products faster and respond more effectively to the global demands of clients. With these changes Rohlig can achieve stronger joint market development of Rohlig Australia and New Zealand.

Educated at the University of Leeds and holding a BA in Accounting and Finance, Mr. Hammond is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. With over 18 years’ of experience in the financial sector, he has worked in corporate, academic, and consulting roles, including positions at PWC, the University of New South Wales, and William Hill. His main responsibility at Rohlig will be to develop a strategy to streamline finance processes in order to maximise output and efficiencies.
