DFDS Seaways restructures its Scotland transport-schedule

Change in favour of freight transportations on the DFDS route from Zeebrugge to Rosyth

A change is to take place in the traffic operated by the shipping company DFDS Seaways on the ro-pax route from Zeebrugge (Belgium) to Rosyth (Scotland) and return. The service, which is currently operated with ro-pax vessels, will be replaced by a ro-ro liner service by the end of this year. Thus freight customers will be able to profit from an enhanced offer, as the enterprise announces in a short press release.

DFDS Seaways operates by its own account northern Europe’s leading sea transport network. By reworking the service schedule on the route from Zeebrugge to Rosyth the enterprise responds to the insufficient utilisation of passenger capacities. Freight transport development in turn fulfils the expectations considering volumes and revenues.
