Dietrich-Honold: New logistics facility for Heraeus-Kulzer in Romania

Large-scale investment in Timisoara: Production and logistics facility of Dietrich-Honold S.R.L. for their customer Heraeus-Kulzer to create 100 jobs before 2015 at least

 
The Dietrich-Honold joint venture is to set up a production and logistics site for medical technology products for dental applications in Southeast Europe. On behalf of their customer Heraeus Kulzer the company will establish a highly modern 13,000 m² facility with air-conditioning and temperature control in Timisoara/Sacalaz, Romania, before 2014. This investment will create at least 100 new jobs at this site to 2015.
 
The building will be equipped with clean rooms, sprinkler system and emergency power supply, with additional space for handling dangerous goods. A connected railway station ensures accessibility of the site, where Dietrich-Honold is already operating a 20,000 m² logistics facility for Continental AG.
 
Dietrich-Honold S.R.L. Romania is a joint venture of the companies Dietrich Logistik and Honold Logistik with a staff of 150 employees in Timisoara operating 70,000 m². The group specialises in the development of logistics property and trade-specific logistics. Both logistics companies have about 1,250 employees at more than 50 locations worldwide, where a logistics area of more than 750,000 m² is available.
 
Heraeus Kulzer GmbH, a globally leading dental enterprise based in Hanau (Germany), supplies dentists and dental technicians with a comprehensive product range in the segments of aesthetic dentistry, tooth preservation, protodontics and periodontology as well as digital dentistry. With about 1,400 employees the enterprise generated sales of more than EUR 350 million in 2012. Since July 2013 Heraeus Kulzer is a company of the Japanese Mitsui Chemicals group, with 13,000 employees in more than 90 countries.
