Drossos transport agency plans system expansions

Viennese specialist of forwarding services to the Balkan countries considers setting up a location in Bulgaria

The Drossos transport agency in Vienna is considering to implement some changes in their system. They are thinking about setting up a business location in Bulgaria in addition to their site in Macedonia’s capital Skopje. This would solve the problem of drives through third-party countries and ECMT authorisations. Moreover they could benefit from free movement of goods in the European Union, Managing Director Philippos Drossos points out in the interview with Österreichische Verkehrszeitung (Austrian Transport Magazine). The forwarder is also pondering the acquisition of own vehicles, to reduce dependency on external freight carriers.

Forwarding services from West and Central Europe to the Balkans and back are the speciality of Drossos transport agency. Greece, Macedonia and Kosovo for the core of the service range. Moreover Philippos Drossos strives to reinforce the commitment on the routes from West and Central Europe to Bulgaria and to Albania.

ÖVZ N° 34/2010 which will be issued on 23 August, will contain a more detailed report on the activities of Drossos transport agency.
