DSV to operate Eastern Europe hub for Sealed Air in Senec
New contract with Sealed Air underlines DSV’s competences in consolidating Eastern European supply chains
DSV Global Transport was awarded a long-term contract to operate Sealed Air’s warehousing and distribution operations in Senec, Slovakia. The hub covers a large part of Sealed Air’s European supply chain. DSV will be responsible for order picking, distribution management and value added services. To facilitate the entire operation in Senec, it expanded the current hazardous goods warehouse with an additional 10,000 m².
Sealed Air has been looking for an eastern hub location to improve the service to its customers by consolidating inventories and streamlining processes. With DSV it has selected a partner responding to all requirements. The company has longstanding experience in the packed chemicals and cleaning products industry and has served the Sealed Air organisation in a number of key markets in the region.
