E. van Wijk Logistics: First own location in Ukraine
New location of E. van Wijk Logistics in Lviv (Lemberg) to start operation with 2,500 m² covered warehouse area
The Dutch corporate group E. van Wijk Logistics has opened its first own location in Ukraine some days ago. The new location in the city of Lviv (Lemberg) replaces a previously rented object. The building has modern offices and a 2,500 m² covered warehouse.
E. van Wijk Logistics headquartered in Giessen in the Netherlands has been serving Ukraine with a dedicated subsidiary since 2005. There are currently 30 employees on the payroll. The dynamic development of the economy in this East European country was the reason for the investment into their own logistics centre, as the management states.
The name E. van Wijk Logistics stands for a traditional provider of transport and logistics services, operating own activities in the Netherlands, Romania, Moldavia and Ukraine. 870 employees at eleven locations are operating a vehicle fleet consisting of 286 trailer trucks, and a total of 32,500 m² warehousing area in Giessen, Cluj Napoca, Bucharest and now also in Lviv, Ukraine.
