Ease of tension between IMS and Roland Spedition

IMS and Roland Spedition will go separate ways despite stopped container blockage

The dispute between the container operators IMS – Intermove Systems and the Roland Spedition forwarding company, which was raised on 30 April by a press release, was mitigated. “We can inform you at this point, that we found an acceptable and legally binding solution together with the Management of Roland Spedition and the container blockage was stopped immediately in the interest of all customers“, the IMS Management announces in a press release. It was also confirmed on part of Roland Spedition, in the form of a letter to their customers, „that the container blockage announced by the IMS company has no effect“.

The background of the stop of the short-term container blockage is no legal aspect, according to IMS. Rather, they wanted to find a solution for the affected customers, which they did. However the IMS Management holds on to their decision of ending the cooperation with Roland Spedition.
