Emirates SkyCargo cooperates with Cool Chain specialist CSafe

Emirates SkyCargo carries more than 3,700 tonnes of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical and healthcare products per year
 
With the appointment of an additional cool chain solutions provider SkyCargo, the freight division of the Arab airline Emirates, has strengthened its Cool Chain Premium Service. Globally acting CSafe will be in charge of the supply and service of mobile refrigeration units used for the Cool Chain Premium Service. Initialy the company will provide units for SkyCargo’s Dublin to Australia route, which operates through Dubai. A later expansion of the agreement to additional lanes is being considered.
 
“It’s critical that we have the necessary capacity and flexibility to provide cool chain solutions for our customers that meet their specific needs,” said Moaza Al Falahi, Vice President Cargo Business and Product Development, Emirates SkyCargo. “The seamless movement of important temperature-sensitive healthcare and pharmaceutical products from one point to another is one of the key strengths of SkyCargo,” he emphasises.
 
SkyCargo offers three Cool Chain solutions, namely Cool Chain Basic, Cool Chain Advanced and Cool Chain Premium, each of which is designed to meet the requirements and specific needs of customers for the shipment of temperature sensitive products from fruit and vegetables to healthcare products and pharmaceuticals. In the past financial year, SkyCargo carried more than 3,700 tonnes of temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical and healthcare products through its Cool Chain Premium Service.
