Emons forwarding gains a foothold in Turkey and China

Continued internationalisation with Emons forwarding leads to setup of two new national branches abroad
 
The Emons forwarding company headquartered in Cologne has been preparing to establish two new national branches during the pas weeks. With the aim of expanding its international activities they opened own branches in Turkey (Istanbul) and in China, offering a wide range of services. This increases the network of the medium-sized German transport and logistics group to more than 70 locations and almost 2,000 employees in Europe and Asia.
 
Since the foundation in 1928 the name Emons has been a synonym for reliable and flexible transport and logistics services. The group-independent forwarding company has lately moved 2.65 million shipments, thereby generating annual turnover of more than EUR 300 million. The ‘equipment pool’ comprises 30 trucks, 160 trailers, more than 100 swap body vehicles and more than 1,000 swap bodies. In Germany they offer currently about 81,300 m² of covered area at 19 locations for warehousing logistics.
