Combi-tank vehicle of Engljähringer GmbH shall help the beverages industry to make savings in transport logistics:

Following the successful market launch of the Optispace series, Engljähringer GmbH is carrying out tests with a new type of trailers for a major customer from the beverages industry. The prototype of the combi-tank vehicle can e.g. carry beer in the form of liquid transport from A brewery to B bottling factory. The tank is then raised in a special procedure and then cargo hold is available for the transport of palletised goods. “This model allows carrying 22,500 litres of liquid goods and 22.5 tons of palletised goods“, explains managing director Gustav Engljähringer in the interview with the Austrian transport magazine Österreichische Verkehrszeitung.

Engljähringer GmbH celebrates its 60 years jubilee in 2011. The enterprise offers its customers special solutions to handle national and international full load and less than full loads. The focus lies on serving the north-south corridor from Finland, Sweden, BeNeLux and Germany to Italy (including Sardinia and Sicily) and return. In Frankenburg a hall offering 5,000 pallet slots is available for warehousing business relating to this. Around 120 employees working at the headquarters in Frankenburg in Upper Austria and at the branches in Kufstein, Bratislava and Bucharest manage the company own fleet, consisting of 75 trucks and about 230 trailers. We cooperate also with many sub freighters“, discloses Gustav Engljähringer.
