Panalpina supports Ericsson with warehousing and distribution logistics in the United Arab Emirates
Ericsson group and the Panalpina have enhanced their good business relations. “Ericsson has commissioned us to handle the local distribution warehouse and deliveries to telecom sites in the United Arab Emirates. In this function we operate the 1,000 sq. m. warehouse located in the Dubai Investment Park. Furthermore the service portfolio includes customs clearance, pick & pack as well as delivery to site, offloading by crane and reverse logistics“, the Panalpina Management announces in a press release. In addition to these services Panalpina guarantees a 24/7 support. Deliveries to more than 2,000 telecom sites across the country can be carried out with an emergency response time of 4 hours from order entry until delivery on site. “This business win is a major breakthrough for Panalpina’s supply chain management services in the Middle East. In combination with the previously awarded air freight and ocean freight business, we offer a real end-to-end solution from the manufacturing plants in Asia and Sweden up to the telecom sites located in rural areas or even off-road in the desert”, says Johan Andersson, Corporate Key Account Manager Telecom Panalpina Arabian Belt.
