ESLA starts as pan-European overnight express network
Cooperative of four specialised logistics service providers brings better market and product coverage within Europe:
The service and logistics providers LPR GmbH Logistik (Neuss/Germany), Lagermax AED International GmbH (Salzburg/Austria), SLS Special Logistic Services (Breda/Netherlands) and DANX A/S (Copenhagen/Denmark) are joining their overnight express networks. With the name European Service Logistics Association, ESLA in short, four group-independent enterprises are joining their core competences in the segments overnight express and value added logistics into one European network. The system headquarters of ESLA is located in the house of the Danish ESLA member DANX A/S.
The aim of this new cooperative is to better cover market and products within Europe, as many customers of the ESLA members are demanding international in-night transportations, but also value added services, such as technical courier services or PUDO solutions. All of the four ESLA members are focussing individual customer solutions, which are already available on national level. These shall be efficiently internationalised on demand, without limitations of group structures.
ESLA opens customers access to a European logistics network for high quality overnight express services in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway, ensuring a constant level of quality and an average punctuality of 99.60 per cent.
With 82 locations (offices, hubs, FSL), 164 pick-up and drop-off points (PUDO) as well as 735 tours the European logistics network guarantees by their own account area-coverage and full handling of comprehensive high-end services. Within the ESLA network 24,000 consignments are delivered per day, around 10,000 returns are accepted and more than 600 swap orders are carried out.
