Fedl Kühllogistik is fully integrated into Müller Transporte

Müller Transporte takes over 100 per cent of Fedl Kühllogistik GmbH – the name “Fedl“ remains, the location in Kalsdorf will be expanded

Following a successful establishment of a joint enterprise with Müller Transporte, Mr. Johann Fedl is to retire from his daily business as of October 2014, after decades in the domestic transport industry. He will leave the Fedl Kühllogistik company as managing director and associate. The company will still keep his name. His shares were entirely taken over by Müller Transporte, effective 10 October.

Johann Fedl GmbH, which has always been in the sole ownership of Johann Fedl, has not any form of partnership with Müller Transporte and is therefore not affected by this transaction. „Through the cooperation with Müller Transporte and a new company we managed to modernise the traditional Fedl site in Kalsdorf and secure it on the long term for customers and employees. Therefore now it’s also the right time for my withdrawal. I am pleased that the new sole owner wants to keep the company name ‚Fedl‘, which is established particularly well in the Styrian transport sector,“ says Johann Fedl.

Fritz Müller, CEO Müller Transporte: „We thank Johann Fedl for the successful cooperation that has allowed it to establish another successful location of our business group specialising in temperature-controlled transportation in no time. From the Kalsdorf location, which we intend to expand in the future, all our customers in Styria, Carinthia and the neighboring countries will benefit today. “

In April 2014 Müller Transporte (headquarters Wiener Neudorf, Lower Austria) and the Styrian transport entrepreneur Johann Fedl founded a joint venture, Fedl Kühllogistik GmbH. The company was held by Müller Transporte from the beginning, holding 76 per cent. Johann Fedl previously held 24 per cent and was Managing Director at the site in Kalsdorf (Styria). With the cooperation a new modern transport company was jointly created on the traditional Fedl site in Kalsdorf.
