Fercam AG opens third location in Austria
Fercam Austria GmbH location in Seeboden (Carinthia) started operation on 1 December:
The South Tyrolean transport logistics group Fercam AG in Austria has increased its commitment. On 1 December the third location in Austria was opened in the Carinthian municipality Seeboden. The new location will focus on full load logistics in south-eastern Europe, as the company announces.
Fercam Austria started operating opening a location in Wörgl, Tyrol, in 2008. One year later a branch in Brunn am Gebirge near Vienna followed. The enterprise is exclusively operating in the business segment FTL Freight Management. The UK, with more than 20,000 shipments and passages per year, is the major destination. So far, the enterprise did not establish an own fleet in Austria.
In Italy Fercam AG counts among the leading logistics suppliers. Across Europe the company offers specialised business units and covers all transport and logistics services in the following segments: Full Truck Load (road and road/rail), Distribution International (general cargo) and Air & Ocean (worldwide). The private enterprise based in Bolzano is currently operating 35 locations in Italy and 18 more across Europe, as well as a subsidiary in Tangier/Marokko. Furthermore the company has a worldwide, dense network of partners and correspondents. Their own fleet comprises 2,200 units. In the 2010 financial year 1,850 employees generated a turnover at EUR 430 million.
