Fraport freight division launches short-time work
Fraport responds to the sharp decline in airfreight volumes at the Frankfurt airport since the beginning of this year, which is up to 25 per cent less than last year: As of next week around 500 employees of the Fraport Cargo Services GmbH (FCS) will be affected by short-time work. This is about 80 per cent of the total 630 FCS employees. At first working hours of concerned persons will be reduced by around 20 per cent during a limited period of two or three months.
