Fusion of 3LOG premium logistics and KS Logistic
| 3KS Logistics GmbH based in Vienna offers worldiwde transport solutions with a focus on Southeastern Europe In the Austrian market for transport and logsitics services two providers with similar corporate cultures have merged. 3LOG premium logistics GmbH and KS Logistic GmbH fusioned with effect from the beginning of October into 3KS Logistics GmbH with headquarters at Zetschegasse in Vienna. The entrepreneurs Thomas Kopp and Robert Strasser are each holding 50 per cent of the shares. The management lies in the hands of Thomas Kopp (Marketing and Sales) and Alexander Schrenk (Operations, Finance, Administration). Around 100 employees generate an annual turnover of EUR 20 million. Accordingt to company statements there is demand for a new location with good logistic infrastructure and sufficient warehousing space. Pursuing a niche policy apart from the big providers of transport and logistics services, 3KS Logistics strives to increase turnover 2011 by 5 to 10 per cent. Being an independent service provider, the „newcomer“ offers worldwide transport solutions – including FCL/LCL container transportations and air freight. The focus lies on the control of goods flows towards Southeastern Europe. The management is open to cooperations with other transport and logistics enterprises. They intend to expand their market activities to Western and Eastern Europe, and plan a strong increase in the international market. |
