Samsung selects P&O Ferrymasters as a logistics partner for international household appliances transportations from Poland
P&O Ferrymasters has won a new major contracr in Eastern Europe. Samsung group has selected the enterprise as a partner to carry out transportations from the plant in Wronki in Poland to Great Britain, France, Spain and Italy. Under the direction of the location in Katowice multiple daily full trailer loads of washing machines and refrigerators are handled. The contract volume is expected to be worth more than EUR 1 million per year. Employing 600 persons at 27 locations in 13 European countries, P&O Ferrymasters provides by its own account customised services in the following fields: transport, logistics and supply chain management. The circle of their regular customers comprises many multinational companies like BASF, BOC, Brenntag, Corus, Daimler, Impress, Kingspan, P&G and SIG Combibloc.
