Gebrüder Weiss supplies pumps manufacturer Grundfos in Hungary
New warehouse of Gebrüder Weiss in Biatorbágy strengthens the network in Hugnary since early March
Gebrüder Weiss continues its expansion in Central and Eastern Europe. The Austrian transportation and logistics company opened its 6th site Hungary at the start of this week. The new facility providing a warehousing area of 10,000 m² in Rozália Park in Biatorbágy will serve to the supply of the plants in Székesfehérvár and Tatabánya with raw materials for the key client, Grundfos, a company manufacturing industrial pumps.
The site is situated in the industrial centre of Pest county, directly on the side of M1 motorway, between the Dunaharaszti branch of Gebrüder Weiss and Grundfos plants.
Grundfos company group is by its own account the largest company that manufactures pumps in the world, operating 73 companies in 45 countries. The Biatorbágy site of Gebrüder Weiss company provides storage capacity for Grundfos as well as warehouses for distribution and transshipment of international incoming or outgoing shipments. The two-shift-work started only on 3rd of March with 36 employees
