Gefco Slovakia opens food logistics centre
New warehouse of the Slovakian company of Gefco in Senec offers 9,000 m² covered area
The Slovakian branch of the French transport and logistics group Gefco expands its warehousing capacity by opening a new warehouse in Senec near Bratislava. With 9,000 m2 this site shall cover the storage demand of an important customer from the food industry. Until September the warehouse, which can store up to 9,000 pallets, shall provide the double of its capacity.
In addition to Senec there are warehouses in Trnava (15,000 m2) and Kechnec (5,800 m2), where Gefco Slovakia attends to customers from such industries as the automobile and consumer goods or new technologies industry. The new site enhance the offer by the national branch in terms of flexibility and quality, and creates new jobs in the region.
