Solid growth with Müller – Die lila Logistik

Müller – Die lila Logistik AG generated increases in turnover and operating results in the first six months of the year
 
The provider of logistics services Müller – Die lila Logistik headquartered in Besigheim was steering on a growth course in the first six months of 2012. With a 5.1 per cent-increase in turnover to EUR 48.25 million compared to the previous year, the operating result (EBIT) improved by 10.7 per cent to EUR 2.37 million. The group’s result amounted to EUR 1.61 million by the end of the reporting period. In this period 1,035 persons on average were employed at 14 locations in Germany, Belgium, Austria, Poland and Slovakia.
 
In the first half of 2012 there was also a bigger demand for consulting services, the Management reports. From consulting orders in the Lila Consult business unit they generated sales revenues at the amount of EUR 3.6 million in the first six months, which is 7 per cent more than last year. In the business division Lila Operating, which joins operative logistics and transport services, sales revenues amounted to EUR 45.2 million (last year: EUR 43.13 million).
