Nippon Express opens „European Cross Dock Centre“ in Rotterdam
"European Cross Dock Centre" of Nippon Express in Rotterdam helps importers of Asian products to save time
Time savings of one to three days are now being offered by the Japanese forwarding company Nippon Express to the users of their new "European Cross Dock Centre" in Rotterdam. The facility allows for quick handling of incoming and outgoing sea freight and thus increases efficiency of transportations from Japan and Asia to Europe and return. Import traffic to Europe is based on a "next-day transfer service". It is also the basis for the above mentioned time savings for transportations from Asia to destinations on the "Old Continent". The "European Cross Dock Centre" of Nippon Express is situated in the Maasvlakte District of the Port of Rotterdam.
