Global Express starts building of new logistics centre in Kalsdorf

Global Express to build a 6,000 m² logistics centre with own fuel station for EUR 3 million; Opening scheduled for early 2014
 
The specialist for transport issues Global Express, with headquarters in Graz Seiersberg, is about to tackle a new major project. A new logistics centre in Kalsdorf is to be built with a total investment of EUR 3 million. The 6,000 m² facility has its own fuel station and shall start operating by the start of 2014. Its capacity is designed for about 100 jobs, said Managing Director Rolf Hadolt at the first turn of the sod.
 
Global Express GmbH was established in 2001 as a specialist for express logistics. Today the company sees itself as market leader in the special segment of overnight and express courier in Styria. Providing transport and courier services for business and private customers they generated turnover of EUR 14 million through handling about 350,000 shipments, reports the newspaper “Kleine Zeitung“. The headquarters in Graz Seiersberg is supported by more locations in Klagenfurt and Vienna. The partner network comprises 300 stations in Central Europe and 200 more worldwide.
