Greencarrier International to open its third location in China

Swedish forwarding group Greencarrier International is to start a new location in Shenzhen on 1 September

The transport and logistics group Greencarrier International (Gotenborg/Sweden) is preparing to open one more site in China. On 1 September 2010 the location in Shenzhen is to start operating. “Including the new office the number of the Swedish company’s stations in China that are focussed on controlling functions grows to three locations. In Hong Kong and Shanghai there are own sites operated since a while“, CEO Niklas Olsson explains in an interview with Österreichische Verkehrszeitung (Austrian Transport Magazine).

As a subsidiary of the Björk.Eklund Group, Greencarrier International offers a wide range of transport and logistics services with points of departure and destinations in northern Europe, the Baltic States and Ukraine. European land transport, worldwide air/sea freight services, projects and special transportations form the core activities. These are provided by 275 employees in 23 offices in nine countries (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, China). In the business year 2010 the management targets a turnover at the amount of EUR 110 million.
