Two new managing directors at Rail Cargo Austria AG
Erik Regter and Andreas Fuchs enter the “command post” of Rail Cargo Austria; Arnold Schiefer assumes the management of Rail Cargo Hungaria
Rail Cargo Austria AG (RCA) has two new managing directors. Erik Regter (46) and Andreas Fuchs (45) will form the future management duo of the ÖBB cargo subsidiary. Regter will take over the sales and marketing agenda with effect from 15 February. The manager changes from the Verbund group to Rail Cargo Austria. Andreas Fuchs – he has been working at ÖBB since 1985 – will be in charge of production and finances. Arnold Schiefer will hold the top position of the Hungarian cargo railway company Rail Cargo Hungaria. Rail Cargo Austria AG (Vienna) has around 11,000 employees and generates a turnover of about EUR 2.2 billion per year, which makes them by their own account market leader for rail logistics in Austria, Central and Southeastern Europe. The enterprise provides customised transport solutions in the segments rail logistics, intermodal logistics, contract logistics, system and product trains, completed by universal forwarding services. In the coming years RCA AG wants to further increase its know-how in the branches chemicals, mineral oil, mining products, automotive, agriculture, consumer goods, building material and waste disposal.
