Hellmann launches daily Rail Shuttle from Bremen to Basel
| Hellmann Worldwide Logistics expands rail offer The logistics enterprise Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, headquartered in Osnabrück, expands its rail service offer. Since May 4, 2009, a new daily direct link between Bremen and Basel v.v. is available for transportations of swap bodies, containers and semi trailers. Departures in both directions are starting from Monday until Friday with provision at the destination scheduled for the next morning. The product name “Rail Solutions“ stands for daily train services that the logistics enterprise has been operating between the economic regions of northern and southern Germany for several years. The points of departure Hamburg, Bremen, Osnabrück and Hannover are daily linked by block trains to the receiving points Frankfurt, Nuremberg, Regensburg and Landshut and vice versa. This allows shifting 300 swap bodies per day from road to rail. Hellmann Worldwide Logistics train systems are also use dot transport time-sensitive general cargo.
