Hellmann launches innovative goods safety system
Cooperation with DiSa Digital Safety opens access for Hellmann Worldwide Logistics to new options of improving customers’ supply chain
Signing a cooperation agreement with DiSa Digital Safetym the logistics enterprise Hellmann based in Osnabrück has found a competent partner to further improve the supply chain of its customers. The optimisation shall be implemented by using an innovative goods safety system, which DiSa has elaborated and tested in tight cooperation with trade and producers. What is special about this goods safety system is, that almost every controller-based products, such as notebooks or mobile phones, can be equipped with this protection against theft during production already. This yields many advantages along the supply chain until the Point of Sale. These are e.g. low costs for individual safety measures, the option of optimising sales areas or the fact, that DiSa makes also digital products suitable for self-service. Additional safety measures and technological connection to the cash system in retail markets are no longer necessary. The goods are unlocked after purchase by entering a device-specific DiSa-PIN-Code and can then be used. As long as the PIN is not entered, it is not possible to activate the product. Theft is thus useless. This increases the safety of products against theft and guarantees a cost-efficient transport and storage option. Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has made it its task to bundle the innovative safety system of DiSa with its own logistic know how. Processes can then be handled more flexible and effective. First projects in Germany and the US are being implemented. Further projects for Europe, Asia and the US are being negotiated, in order to push a globe-spanning implementation of the DiSa goods safety system in cooperation with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.
