‘Hidden Champion’-award for Hödlmayr International

High quality awareness and a broad range of automotive services make Hödlmayr International (Schwertberg) a ‘Hidden Champion’

Hödlmayr International has won a very special award: For its outstanding achievements in export business Hödlmayr International received the “Hidden Champion 3.0”-award from the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. The renowned prize was presented by Dr. Rudolf Trauner, President of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce, and Dr. Michael Strugl, Upper Austrian Minister of Economy, to Johannes Hödlmayr, Spokesperson of the Management Board.

To apply as a ‘Hidden Champion’ a company must meet strictly defined criteria and belong to the market leaders in Europe in its area. Johannes Hödlmayr also thanked ‘people in logistics’: “This award confirms our continuous efforts to offer our clients highest quality and a broad range of automotive services. Our employees’ availability considerably contributes to that.“

Hödlmayr International based in Schwertberg, Upper Austria, has generated a turnover of EUR 200 million with about 1,500 employees last year. With 600 vehicle carriers and ten block train systems they carried 1.3 million new cars across Europe. In its function as releasing agent the company established in 1954 has been in charge of quality control of 860,000 new cars at six automobile plants.
