ICA increases prices for national combined transport

Economic reasons force Intercontainer Austria to set actions in national transport

Intercontainer Austria (ICA) changes the prices of national combined traffic. In a press release the company of the Rail Cargo Austria group announces a price increase for national intermodal transport. Literally the Management says: “Having considered advantages and disadvantages of a price increase for national combined transport, with respect to economic necessities in the total group for this segment, we must inform you, that we have to increase prices for pure, national terminal-terminal and terminal-branch connections (source and drain in Austria) by 9 to 14 per cent.“

The prices for national pre- and on carriage to international block trains will be increased by 90 to 14 per cent on the following relations: Salzburg-Villach, Wolfurt-Ludesch, Wels-Villach, Wels-Krems and Herzogenburg-Vienna. For national disposition transportations of empty containers the ICA Management announces minor price adjustments from 1 August 2010.
