Imtech ICT Austria wins mega outsourcing order from Exapaq

French B2B parcel service Exapaq renews its contract with Imtech ICT Austria as operator of the IT system:

Imtech ICT Austria attends to a new large-scale project. The French postal services provider (La Poste), commissioned the enterprise with the entire IT activities of its subsidiary Exapaq. The B2B parcel service provider handles more than 47 million parcels annually, covering the country with a 24/48hs delivery service. The contract represents a value of EUR 60 million.

Besides being responsible for the operation of the entire IT system including its network, Imtech will also employ own developed software systems. Imtech Country Director Friedrich Wiltschko: “We combine application software know-how with operational expertise of IT systems, which is the key of our partnership’s success in the logistics market.“ The cooperation between Exapaq and Imtech ICT Austria dates back many years ago – the renewal of the contract confirms the quality of this partnership. Their logistic clients are e.g. DHL, City Express (a subsidiary of Austrian Post), Slovenia Post, Logwin and Panalpina, but also many medium-sized logistic companies.
