Insolvency brings ELITE Transportservice to its knees

Regional court Innsbruck opens bankruptcy proceedings about ELITE Transportservice GmbH from Steinach am Brenner, Tyrol
 
The transport industry in Tyrol claims another case of insolvency. On 10 January the bankruptcy proceedings were opened at the regional court Landesgericht Innsbruck about the assets and liabilities of ELITE Transportservice GmbH, based in Steinach am Brenner. The company’s liabilities are about EUR 1 million, as the association for the protection of creditors KSV 1870 announces in a press release.
 
Lawyer Christian Winder from Innsbruck was appointed liquidator for this case. The first hearing is scheduled for 8 March 2013. As of now creditors may file their claims also with the KSV 1870. Registration period in court ends on 22 February 2013.
 
The company had already filed for bankruptcy last August. A recovery plan with a quota of 30 per cent was accepted then, but could not be paid, which is why the bankruptcy proceedings were opened again. The company has currently 6 employees. The coming weeks are deemed to show whether operations can be continued on the long term from seen the financial aspect.
