Intereuropa d.d.: Luka Koper plans to sell its shares

Equity stake of Luka Koper d.d. in transport and logistics group Intereuropa for disposal

 

The circle of shareholders of the Slovenian transport and logistics group Intereuropa d.d. is to be restructured. Luka Koper d.d. announced its intention of disposing of its shares. Interessented parties may submit their offers before 14 February 2011. The company managing the Slovenian seaport of Koper is holding 24.8 per cent of the share capital of the Intereuropa Group.

The name Intereuropa stands for a leading provider of services in the segments transport, forwarding and logistics in Southeastern Europe. Established in 1947 the company operates a network of 19 locations in 12 European countries. With 2,436 employees they aim at a turnover of EUR 191 million in 2011, which means a 3.5 per cent increase compared on 2010. Apart from 505 vehicles the “basic inventory” includes also 269,000 m² covered logistics facilities.
