Intereuropa Group posts strong first half of the year 2011

Balkans specialist Intereuropa Group achieved considerable growth in sales revenues in the first six months of 2011 and a positive operating result:

Intereuropa Group dedicated the first half of the year 2011 to growth and improvement of economic key figures. According to the interim report published last week, the transport and logistics service provider based in Koper, Slovenia, generated a turnover of EUR 109.6 million between January and June, thus exceeding last year’s figure by 20 per cent. All business segments accounted therefore. Thanks to new and enhanced business activities in rail logistics, the overland transport division registered the biggest growth. Operating result was clearly positive with EUR 5.6 million.

The Intereuropa Group comprises companies in Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia, Bosnia-Hercegowina, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo, Albania, Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France with currently about 2,214 employees. The truck fleet consists of 380 vehicles. Terminals provide 262,700 m² of covered area for warehousing logistics business.
