„K“ Line establishes new subsidiary for ro-ro services

"K" Line RoRo Services Ltd. to manage sales and marketing of services for ro-ro cargo, used cars and equipment
 
Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. announces the establishment of a new subsidiary company. "K" Line RoRo Services Ltd. will be founded on October 1, 2013. The business outline of the new company is sales and marketing of so-called RoRo cargo, including construction machinery, agricultural machinery and static cargo, as well as used automobiles and used construction machinery. The subsidiary with offices in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Hiroshima will expand its customer base of such cargo and will further enhance sales activities to customers dealing with such cargo.
 
"K" Line Group recently sees more and more diversification of cargo mix being loaded, or susceptible for loading, into its car carriers. The new company will be composed of a group of specialists who will promote its activities through communication with present and potential customers. Afterwards the team will analyse their needs and offer reasonable and personalized solutions and they will also provide them with reliable service utilizing the extensive fleet of car carriers operated worldwide by Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd.
 
Up to now the RoRo cargo team, Car Carrier Business Group of Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. has been handling this role, but the task will be wholly shifted to the new company.
