KN starts direct groupage liner service from Poland to the Baltic States v. v.

New direct groupage lines of Kuehne+ Nagel simplify goods exchange of Poland’s industry with Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania:

With Kuehne+ Nagel the lat autumn 2011 is dedicated to new direct groupage services between Poland on the one, and Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania on the other hand. As of now the worldwide operating transport and logistics enterprise organises two weekly departures from the hub Poznan (Poland) to the stations Tallinn (Estonia), Riga (Latvia) and Vilnius (Lithuania) and return.

The new services provide customers in the named countries access to an improved international groupage service. They are integrated in area-covering house-to-house concepts with the option to check the shipment status throughout the transport chain as well as to download PODs. The transport between the economic centres in Poland (Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw), Estonia (Tartu, Nava, Jarve), Latvia (Liepaja, Ventspils, Jalgava, Jurmala) and Lithuania (Kaunas, Klaipeda, Alytus, Ukmergé) usually takes 48 hours.
