LH Cargo meets TSA requirements ahead of deadline

Lufthansa Cargo meets the tougher security requirements throughout the US

In terms of security Lufthansa Cargo AG is not making any comprises, as they state. According to this motto the enterprise specialising in the global transportation of air freight and air mail meets the tougher security requirements imposed by the US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) one month ahead of the deadline.

Since 1 July the freight consignments transported on passenger aircraft will be screened at the 17 American airports served by the Lufthansa group. “Over the past three years, screening requirements in the USA have steadily increased. We therefore invested early on in new technologies and in staff training. By meeting the requirements well before the mandated deadline we are able to give our customers planning reliability,” said Klaus Holler, Vice President The Americas at Lufthansa Cargo. According to his statement the cargo carrier’s customers will not feel any negative effects of the increased security requirements when shipping freight consignments.
